The Juliet (formerly known as The Phare) is a 3,000-square-foot contemporary event space located in Kansas City, Missouri. This unique rooftop venue features an open-concept floor plan, 20-foot ceilings, and a loft-style aesthetic. The contrasting black grid windows against the striking white walls and concrete floors provide a true, “blank canvas” for complete artistic freedom.

For this shoot, we collaborated with Dear Society– a modern, vintage clothing boutique in downtown Kansas City. They specialize in the collection of minimal, yet timeless apparel for women. The stylists at Dear Society carefully curated each bridal look from thrifted vintage finds. Each outfit showcases accessible bridal fashion perfect for elopements and/or the sustainable bride.

THE VISION: ALTERNATIVE BRIDAL LOOKS FOR THE MODERN BRIDE

the first look: a yellow cutout dress with bold statement earrings and a vintage white clutch.

the second look: a feminine plissé long sleeve gown with a vintage headpiece and pearl necklace.

the third look: a sleeveless yellow gown with a ruffle neckline and satin gloves.

the final look: a two-piece vintage cape and trouser set with intricate lace detailing.
